Mr. Meade, Mr. Meade how do I start. Well let me say this if it wasn't for him maybe I would be in a different place in my life. High school was a tough experience but he made it easier. There are so many ways that he helped me I honestly don't know where to start. Mr. Meade didn't even seem like a social worker he seemed like a big brother to me, he was always there when I needed a helping hand, and to talk too. Everyone says high school is hard but it doesn't seem that way when he's around, anybody whose lucky enough to have him around should be very grateful!!

Throughout my life I have had more problems than most people would humanly think possible. I went through my life thinking there would be no way to work out my problems and ever be able to cope with them like everyday people do. The summer before I entered high school I was so stressed out because I knew high school would be another problem for me and it added to my worries. Little did I know that I was about to meet a person who would change my life and work with me to help make sense of the things I could never understand. Mr. Meade helped get me through my 4 years of high school which I doubted that I could do. He was determined to get me to do what I needed to do and he wouldn't give up until I did it. I know he truly cared about me and my well being. After I graduated he didn't just walk out of my life like you would expect of most people. He has followed up with me to make sure I've been doing okay and has still been there to listen and give his advice when I need it from time to time. I feel truly blessed to have been able to have the privilege to meet someone so kind, sincere and caring. I look at Mr. Meade as a member of my family. He has done so much for me and I don't think I will ever be able to repay him for what he's done. He has helped me become the better, stronger, more confident person I am today. He has given me the greatest gift... he has showed me how to look at life with open eyes and has taught me that there is a solution to every problem life throws at you. Thanks to him I am a better person and because of that he will always be in my heart.
